These large capacity 16-ft Signature Crescent bus shelters built for Chapel Hill Transit in NC are perfect for University stops as well as busy travel corridors. The all-aluminum construction includes curved solid aluminum roof panels that support dusk-to-dawn solar powered LED illumination integrated into the roof beam. The wide 7-ft deep roof is supported by column posts with strong “I” beam aluminum extrusions and covered escutcheon base plates. Full-length wind-protecting end walls and full height rear walls are made of durable aluminum frames and clear polycarbonate panels providing high visibility for passenger security and clear sight lines for approaching bus operators, while enhancing passenger comfort by providing protection from wind and rain. Amenities in the shelter include durable Mesa benches providing ample passenger seating.

This 8-ft Signature Crescent transit shelter located in Lawrence, KS was built for Lawrence Transit. The shelter incorporates solid aluminum roof panels secured by gasketed pressure ribs and an 8-ft x 5-ft shelter roof drip line. Custom curved aluminum I-Beam rear posts have fixed base plates for surface mounting and cantilever design. Perforated aluminum panels comprise the rear wall. The entire shelter is finished in super durable baked powder coat, color RAL 7004 Signal Grey. As always, all installation hardware and instructions are included upon delivery.
Shown with the shelter is a 44-in Crescent bench featuring fully welded, all aluminum construction. It is designed to complement the Crescent model shelters, with a perforated aluminum seating surface. It too, is finished in super durable baked powder coat, color RAL 7004 Signal Grey.

These 13-ft x 5-ft and 13-ft x 7-ft Signature Crescent series bus shelters were created and fabricated for HART in Tampa, FL.
In keeping with Tolar’s “Kit of Parts” approach, the bus shelters are available with optional end walls on either side, with or without agency branding, dusk-to-dawn solar powered LED illumination and a SmartLink controller allowing for remote monitoring of the solar performance. Amenities include a Mesa bench with a center armrest and 32-gallon trash receptacle.
