Tolar Manufacturing, along with the transit shelter solar illumination experts at Urban Solar Corporation hosted a workshop at the Canadian Consulate in Los Angeles
Recently, Tolar Manufacturing, along with the transit shelter solar illumination experts at Urban Solar Corporation hosted a workshop at the Canadian Consulate in Los Angeles to showcase our collective approach to transit shelter illumination solutions. Over 50 transit professionals from across the western United States enjoyed a light meal and beverages in the comfort of the consulate patio before adjourning indoors for the formal presentation and dialog.
The Canadian consul general shared remarks about the collaboration of Canadian and United States partnerships and our abilities to still comply with Buy America requirements while still being able to grow the North American economy.
Presenters including Urban Solar President/CEO Jeff Peters and Tolar Executive Vice President Patrick Merrick, discussed the interworking of both companies, their shared values and the ability of the engineer teams from both companies to meet the expanding PV requirements of the transit community. As part of this process there was a discussion about the right approach to reliable solar design and engineering components for quality illumination, even in the most challenging of environments.
