Tallahassee, Florida installs 30 new Sunset Bus Shelters
These Sunset bus shelters custom built for Tallahassee’s StarMetro public transit service were designed and fabricated in 10-ft and 12-ft lengths to meet the agency’s size and foundation requirements for narrow footprints. The solid aluminum roof panels provide maximum passenger shade and protection from inclement weather. Revenue-generating advertising is illuminated with solar-powered lighting, which also provides passenger security during evening travel. Each of the 30 bus shelters also include 24-inch and 36-inch map cases supporting passenger travel.
The bus shelters were purchased through a cooperative purchase agreement with neighboring Jacksonville Transit Authority.
