Kristen Allen promoted to Tolar Manufacturing Company Quality Control Manager

Tolar Manufacturing Company founder and president, Gary Tolar has promoted five-year employee, Kristen Allen to Quality Control Manager.

Kristen joined the Tolar Manufacturing team in April 2012 as an entry-level design engineer while attending college. She quickly took on additional duties as the company’s communications liaison helping to disseminate process improvement initiatives across all company departments. Soon she moved into the role of Quality Control Assistant.

“Throughout my time working at Tolar quality has always been a top priority,” commented Allen. “As Quality Control Manager, I look forward to ensuring the company’s high standards continue to be met on behalf of our clients.”

A 2016 graduate of California State University, San Bernardino with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications, Kristen is responsible for ensuring that all departments adhere to the company’s Quality Control Manual, identifying critical points, monitoring processes, and implementing corrective actions and operating procedures that improve the quality of Tolar’s products. She also maintains Tolar’s nationally recognized Clark County Approved Fabricator certification. “As a Clark County Approved Fabricator, we strive to ensure that the products we produce meet the rigorous AWS and ASTM standards as well as customer specifications,” continued Allen.
