RTA riders in New Orleans receive 17-ft solar powered bus shelters

This 17-ft Sierra Low Peak bus shelter located in New Orleans, Louisiana is sleek yet traditional with three Victorian-style 3/8″ thick clear polycarbonate rear wall panels and open-end walls, providing high visibility for passengers and bus operators alike. Additional visibility comes from the two RMS80F solar-powered LED lights under the shelter roof, which is comprised of aluminum roof panels and intermedia raised battens. Adjustable aluminum leveling shoes with stainless steel anchors allow for easy installation. Passengers await their bus in comfort on an 8-ft long perforated metal bench with seat delineators.
